The Last Frontier



Seeing this kind of thing on my hands was just one of my dreams. JUSKOLORD! ANG SAYA KO PO! Plane ticket ito going to Palawan. Palawan Exposure Tour achieved 2 of  my dreams -- Riding on a plane and visit Puerto Princesa Underground River. Grabe lang! I just can't explain my feeling nung nalaman ko na tuluyan na akong makakasama sa tour namin. It wasn't just an ordinary trip coz I'll be celebrating my 19th Birthday on Palawan,

This was taken from NAIA Terminal 3. After check-in we roam around the place kasi 7:35 pa naman ang boarding namin. Grabe! Almost 5 hours pa kaming maghihintay.. Anyway mas maganda dun kesa naman late and it gives us time to rest and experience the breeze of the airport. 

        Travel time from Manila to Palawan is approximately less than two hours depends on the traffic situation on air. We arrived at Puerto Princesa few minutes before the expected time of arrival. We were welcomed by the agency in Palawan and were given lei’s as welcome gift. There is service that led us to our designated hotels. Palawan Uno Hotel and Libis Bayview Hotel was the hotels chosen by the agencies. 

Grabe ang saya kaya kasi naman nakasakay na ako ng airplane tapos nakarating pa ako sa Palawan and its good to see yung crater ng Taal Volcano. Hahaha ang cute! Though the airplane masakit sa tenga pero infairness nakatulog ako. Sarap sa feeling!

This was at New Plaza Cuartel where 11 American Soldiers fought for our freedom. Makikita dito ang view ng dagat. Sobrang ganda and feel na feel mo yung dagat. Yung hangin sobrang sarap. Sobrang linis din dito. 

 Baker's Hill! Yes! Grabe sobrang sarap ng Hopiang Ube dito. Heaveeeen! Dami din na mga cartoon character. Woah lang! Ang saya! Dito ko din binili yung dream catcher. Katuwa!


Palawan Wildlife Rescue and Conservation Center, kung saan nag-aalaga dito ng mga baby crocodiles. Grabe kahit sobrang baby pa nila pero nakakatakot. Sobrang dami and sobrang scary nya.

Lights off ng 9 pm kami after dinner. Grabe lang! Wala ng nakapagswimming puro nasa room and sleeping. Mga pagod na kami. Nakakatuwa kasi nung nag-room check mga prof namin ako na lang ang gising at nag-aayos ng gamit. Yung mga kasamang kong malalaki.. borlogs na! Katuwa sila! I slept also mga around 10 pm na. 

September 17, 1996. IT WAS MY BIRTHDAY! They greeted me! Kilig ako! Early morning breakfast kami.. naggreet na sila. OMG! So kilig po!

After ng pagkain namin syempre kahit sobrang init. Picture! Picture! It was really fun! So FUN! Ang ganda ng island no? Sa Cowrie yan, one of the islands. White sand nga. Ameyzing!


Wala akong masabi kundi.. "GRABE ANG GANDA NG PALAWAN" Worth it yung nagastos namin dyan. SOBRANG GANDA. SOBRANG LINIS. SAWANG SAWA SA PAGPIPICTURE.

Eto yung pinakahihintay naming lahat... Yung Puerto Princesa Underground River. UNESCO's World Heritage Site. Talaga namang nakakapaNGA NGA ang ganda sa loob. Ayoko ilahad kasi unexplainable yung makikita mo sa loob. Hindi siya malalarawan hanggat hindi ikaw mismo ang nakakarating. Sobrang ganda!

Truly, Palawan Tour was one of the best na narating ko. Sobrang proud ako na Filipino ako. Underground River was also known as St. Paul Mediterranean River. It was the highest mountain in Palawan pero ang loob nya is the underground river, Mayroon dito na stalagmites and stalactites. It is an 8 kilometer pero ang napapasok lang is about 1 kilometer. Sobrang dilim pero sobrang enchanting. Napakahiwaga nya. It was really a magic and a gift from God! Worth it lahat ng magagastos dito. Hindi sya ganun kasosyal katulad ng ibang islands pero yung tipo na sobrang linis, sobrang ganda, sobrang disiplinado ng mga taong nakatira dito. It makes Palawan one of the best in the Philippines. You will not see jeepneys but kapag may mga tours... they use Van instead. Para siyang bukid pero minsan maiisip mo na.. CITY NGA PALA TO. Puerto Princesa was one of the islands in Palawan meron pang Coron, El Nido and grabe.. kahit hindi ko pa sya napupuntahan alam kong NAPAKAGANDA DIN DUN.

The Unseen Beauty of Bauan

The Adventure             When you were actually from Batangas and you heard the place “Bauan”, you might say “worst traffic ever.” This is really true! Bauan, Batangas is known for its heavy traffic every day. A kind of place where traffic is really there, transportation is so hard and all the bad things you can blame to it. But what makes me forget all these hard things to Bauan is it unseen beauty. As a fourth year student, we need to have a place for thesis and we chose Bauan as the subject. The first thing that we should do to start in thesis is to discover first what Bauan has. It was 13 th on May when I decided to have the first glimpse on the said place. TKB goes to Shercon Resort & Ecology Park

           Despite of the busy schedules, we decided to unwind while doing some school stuffs. Yeah, it was a good idea to relax and enjoy everything while doing school works. Since Shercon Resort & Ecology Park is one of the ecotourism sites here in the province of Batangas, we decided to have our finals there. Luckily, they agreed to our venue and last Friday, December 9, 2016 we went to Shercon. I really didn’t imagine that I’m going to that place since the entrance fee is too expensive but because of our finals I was given a chance.          Shercon Resort and Ecology Park is one of the perfect examples of ecotourism sites in Batangas Province.
