TKB goes to Shercon Resort & Ecology Park

           Despite of the busy schedules, we decided to unwind while doing some school stuffs. Yeah, it was a good idea to relax and enjoy everything while doing school works. Since Shercon Resort & Ecology Park is one of the ecotourism sites here in the province of Batangas, we decided to have our finals there. Luckily, they agreed to our venue and last Friday, December 9, 2016 we went to Shercon. I really didn’t imagine that I’m going to that place since the entrance fee is too expensive but because of our finals I was given a chance.

         Shercon Resort and Ecology Park is one of the perfect examples of ecotourism sites in Batangas Province. It is located at Mataas na Kahoy, Lipa City Batangas. We had a great experience at Shercon Resort last Friday, December 09, 2016. We decided to choose Shercon Resort because we know that it will truly fit on what we are looking for. 

We travel from Batangas City to Mataas na Kahoy. But before we go there, we bought foods in the market for lunch. It takes 10-15 minutes travel time from Mataas na Kahoy market to Shercon. Around 1pm when we reached Shercon and we went first to the information office and had a mini interview to the employees. On that exact day, there’s event holding on one of the function halls and some of the cottages were not available. We thought that we cannot experience Shercon and we cannot shoot. But the employees find a way for us to be accommodated. We find any available cottage and luckily one of their Japanese cottages is available and without any hesitation we get the cottage.

We don't have any reservation because it was just a day tour. When we were already in the cottage, we ate lunch first so that we can start the shoot with no interruptions. We start the video at the hanging bridge and of course try crossing the hanging bridge even though some of them are afraid. If you really want to have a tour, they prefer to ride on the ocular service. There are so many swimming pools inside and they are really far from each other. But since we are already there, we did not miss the opportunity to have a tour and to swim to different pools.

The driver also serves as a tour guide and he guides us on the different accommodation that they have. They also have the human size maze and we also try it not just once but twice. The famous 11 pocket pools are also located at Shercon Resort. There are so many beautiful spot and one of it is the beautiful Taal Volcano. Everything was amazing that day from the employees of the resort because they give good service to all of us. Shercon Resort is really a good place to relax. You would love any corner of the place even the ambience. This might be the reason why Shercon is really famous nowadays.
