The Pride of Rich Batangas

Yes, Batangas is known for its bravery. The famous Kapeng Barako in town, the delicious Lomi of Lipa, the pride of Taal Church with Tapang Taal and Balisong; Anything about this place can be proud of. Summer is the most awaited and everyone is excited to have their new 2017 summer escape this year. Batangas is rich with the places you can spend to relax and enjoy your break.

                            Can you guess our FIRST STOP?

Before anything else, we’re in Lent season and we need to discover first that Batangueños is one of the most religious people we know; it’s a kind of true, I’m a pure Batangueña! 

We love to have the Visita Iglesia and this should be the first and foremost place we need to go to this summer especially Lenten Season. Take time to spend a minute to pray and be grateful for all the blessings we received.  This place I’ve been introducing is known as the Little Rome of the Philippines – Lipa City, Batangas! Believe me or not, there are many churches located here. I want to give eight (8) out of  many churches and landmarks in Lipa, Batangas. 

 Benedictine Sisters of St. Benedict Monastery 

Brgy. Pinagtung-ulan, Lipa City Batangas

 It is a very solemn place where you can talk to God and hear Him answer. The place is quiet, calm and miracles can happen from the heart.

St. Vincent Ferrer Parish

Banay banay, Lipa City Batangas

     Like the first church, the place is also sacred. This church celebrates its fiesta town every 5^th of April. 

Divino Amor Redemptorist Church 

M.K. Lina St., Lipa City

  This is not grandiose unlike the churches but this is very serene and peaceful. You can feel the sacredness of the place.

San Sebastian Cathedral 

C.M. Recto Avenue, Lipa City

The church is well-kept and beautiful. It is located in the heart of Lipa and also known as the Lipa Cathedral.

 Mary Mediatrix Of All Grace Parish Church 

Antipolo Del Norte, Lipa City

This is the first time I went to this church; a very beautiful and sacred church. I fell inlove with this church. The location looks good but still need improvements. I guess this will become one of the famous churches in Lipa soon. 

  Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Church 

P. Torres St., Lipa City

   This is famous because of the rose petals (with Mama Mary’s picture) that came down from above. You will also love the ambience of the place; it’s very peaceful. There are many devotees went and attend mass here.

Sto. Niño Parish Church 

Levitown, Marawoy Lipa City

   This is also my first time to get here. It’s kinda new to my eyes. The location of the church is so cute; sighted at the middle of the field.

  

Marian Orchard

Brgy. Malabanan, Balete, Batangas 

Marian Orchard is like a European Garden and you’ll see lots of flowers trimmed well. You’ll see different statues like St. Padre Pio and one of the most statues that caught my eye is the Sacred Heart Tower. It is the first that you’ll see when you enter the place. The tower is also near the Sacred Heart Chapel where you can pray and thank God for everything. There is also a small place to light a candle and wish for something.

After the churches, what we need to do is to? SWIM! Yeah, I guess you're wondering our next adventure? SECOND STOP? The Beaches

        As the year 2017 comes along our way, everyone is seemingly excited to the most awaited month of the year – Summer! Yes! Everyone is too excited to wear their sexiest outfit to the beach. So, what’s up? What’s up for this year’s summer? Wanna wear your sexiest two piece you’ve received last Christmas? Ooohh, seriously you gonna love the beautiful and rich Batangas!

We do search for many beaches and resorts but hey, Batangas is just two hour drive from Manila! This is the nearest yet the most famous beaches in the Philippines. I guess we all know the Lobo and San Juan white beaches however we don’t know that there were other places in Batangas that has beaches. In this year’s summer, I will be introducing the newly found beaches located in the municipality of Bauan and Mabini, Batangas!

     Hello. So, I am a Tourism Student; I’ve travelled to so many unseen parts of Batangas (because of our researches and projects in school) in which all of you will love. We were known for white beaches, as always! However, I discovered that there were more beaches located on the other side of Batangas. I/we went to the hidden part of Bauan and Mabini (in Batangas) in which we all see the serene beach. It was very quiet, peaceful and very beautiful. All I can hear is the sea breeze; the perfect waves of the ocean; the calm place that anyone of you will love. The beaches are (you know) untouched that is the reason why it is very calm. There were resorts located on it namely: 

 

Rosana Beach Resort

Brgy. Sampaguita, Bauan Batangas

  The first resort we reached. It offers accommodations and water sports. It is very beautiful. The first time we saw it, we didn’t say a word unless “Wow!”

La Thalia Beach Resort

Brgy. Locloc, Bauan Batangas

This resort is beautiful inside and outside the area. There is a complete package on which you have the restaurants, water sports, rooms, pools, slides. You can also play volleyball.

Il Sogno Beach Resort

Brgy. Locloc, Bauan Batangas

 This is new to the industry but the hospitality of the staff is beyond grateful. They are very entertaining and you will love how they treat their guests. Aside from it, it is very beautiful though a small resort.

       Aside from Bauan, I went also to Mabini which is considered as one of the beaches with beautiful diving spots especially Anilao. Yes, it’s very true! But then again, Anilao is not only the diving spot in Mabini – the whole Mabini has different beaches and I guess, diving spots. Would you believe me that every barangay in Mabini has its own remarkable? It’s a yes, my dear! I would love to enumerate all but I will just introduce few of them.

Sea's Spring Resort

         (picture above) This is the Sea’s Spring Resort located at Brgy. Mainit, Mabini Batangas. It has a 5 hectare natural lush valley with hot springs, sauna and dive shop. Anyone will love this place. You can celebrate birthdays, weddings and any other important events. Price is worth enjoying because of the good ambience.

Crystal Blue Resort

   Crystal Blue Resort (picture on top) is located at Brgy. Bagalangit, Mabini Batangas. What makes it different is that it is located in hidden range of Mabini but what makes it also special is that though the space is too small, the resort is beyond beautiful. There you can really relax and loves the place like you was on your own house. The resort is astonishing that offers diving lessons and also accommodations with a mini-bar.

Casa Bahia

  It is also located at Sitio Balabag,  Brgy. Bagalangit, Mabini Batangas. Foreigners love to spend their free time here diving with their families. I love the place especially the staffs with hospitable manners. They were really entertain the guests well… all of them. I guess, the resort is worth recommending! (picture on top)

Anilao Tanlak & Dive Resort

  

This is the first resort we reached when we went to Mabini. It is small, yes but you will not imagine how the owner makes it more comfortable and amazing. There are pools, restaurants and accommodations for the guests. Souvenir shops are also located and you can try diving lessons if you want by their diving instructors. It is definitely one of the best! (picture above)

          This resort has the picturesque view! The place is so amazing but this is only the picture I had. So sad, I haven’t taken any one. According to the manager, it is a branch of Vivire Azure located in Alabang, Muntinlupa that’s why it is very beautiful and (you know) really amazing; one of a kind resort we’ve ever have.

          Batangas is rich not just the white sand beaches of Lobo and San Juan but also our own culture and traditions; the churches and landmarks located in any part. Foreigners love to invest here; tourists will enjoy spending their holiday break. Every Batangueños should be proud of how lucky we are as we have natural resources. All we know is just the simple traffic on the city. We don’t know that when we travel in some part of this province, we will see that Batangas is really amazing. Batangas is rich and perfect for every summer! 

       Just a simple tip of advice before exploring other provinces, discover first what we had. We will not see the beauty of a place without discovering it! These 3 municipalities of Batangas is just an overview, there are lots of magnificent places located in it. What we need is to discover and explore. Try something new, always!
