My Top Listed Café’s in Batangas City

Hello readers! Welcome back to my blog and I’m glad I have a new entry now. It’s been awhile since I uploaded an entry about foodie. Anyway, thank you for always take time to browse or read my blog. It’s a pleasure knowing that I can help you and I can share my experience through this simple site.

Anyway, how’s everyone? I’ve been very choosy on how to pick topics on my blog and I decided to share some of my top listed café’s located here in my province. I’ve been living in a place where lots of café’s and coffee shops are located. This thing became so in demand nowadays but it’s actually a good investment since students love to go visit places like this. (This is based on my opinion only and anyone is not related to it). I went to some café’s; tried their best sellers and experience what they can offer.  This is not a sponsored post.

Before anything else, let me give you some points about what is a Café?

A café is a type of restaurant which usually serves coffee and snacks. The term "café" comes from French, and means "coffee". You can read newspapers and magazines there, or chat with other customers about current topics. It is known as a place where information can be exchanged. A café is sometimes called a coffeehouse or a coffee shop or tea shop in English, a café in French and a cafe in Italian. (Google.com)

Here’s my top listed café: (This is not based on the most visited, I randomly picked it)

HE BREW’S CAFÉ

Location: #43 P. Burgos St., Batangas City (first branch)
Facebook Page: He Brews Cafe

I’ve been here for many times and I find it really good place to have a conversation with. It’s perfect to have a date or just a simple meal to end starvation. What I like about He Brews is their Sardines pasta and Chicken Buffalo wings paired with wedges dipped in a special mayo. Ugh, I so love the taste! I want also the cucumber lemonade for my drinks. If you have a different taste, you can pick other flavors and type of food. There are lots of choices plus you can request whatever you like. The place is located at the heart of the city. There is also a WIFI if you are having a meeting or study research.

JOVITA CAFÉ
Location: Diversion Rd., Sta. Clara, Batangas City (first branch)
Facebook Page: Jovita Cafe

This café is my favorite of all times! Do you know why? The first time I tried this one is when I wrote a review about Jovita Café. I even have a special blog entry featuring this café. It inspires me because of the good food and a pleasant ambience of the place. It is perfect for study research, a simple data or just want to hang out with friends. There is also WIFI and you can also celebrate your birthdays with them. They offer group meals and packages for parties. I even experience celebrating my birthday in Jovita Café. My favorite in here is their Spicy Seafood Pasta and their wedges; when it comes to drinks, I love the lemonade perfect for pastas. You can choose your own favorite because there are lots of other flavors and type of food.

PURPLE BEETLE CAFÉ
Location: P. Burgos St., Dayton Hotel, Batangas City (Batangas City branch)
Facebook Page: Purple Beetle Cafe

I visited Purple Beetle twice. The first time I went to this is when I had a reunion with my classmates on college. I tried their burger and frappe. I love burgers but I assure you that you will also love their kind of taste. The second time I went, I tried their lasagna and wedges paired with lemonade, again. Yes, I do love lemonades. I find their pastas the usual taste, I can also recommend you this because I really love pastas. You can check this out if you want to have a review of this café. The interior design of the café is my favorite. The design is too cute and very feminine. All of the corner are instagrammable; too sad that the photos taken from this café was deleted. I was so sad not to share my beautiful photos there. Anyway, try this out since it’s very trendy and many student love to visit this one.

These are my three café’s I really love to visit. I also went to the Frozen Hub located at Cuidad Food Avenue but I want to have a separate blog entry for that and also my food trip at 3:16 Chillout Park. Just keep on waiting for that. Anyway, to help us determine the top most visited café’s here, I asked some of my colleagues for their own opinions and what are their favorites. Here are some of their answers:

@alyzone: “Jovita Café is my favorite because of its nice atmosphere, sobrang malinis at masarap talaga tumambay. Carbonara is my favorite pasta there. Lasang lasa ang sauce at sobrang nakakabusog. I would recommend this café because it has unlimited WIFI.”

@nowilharvey: “The Garden Café, the newest café in Batangas, can visit by anyone. It is located at Batangas Country Club, Brgy. Bolbok, Batangas City. This is my favorite café here in Batangas City. Hindi lang café ang matatagpuan dito kundi mayroon silang rooms, swimming pool, restaurants and bars. Pwede din itong gawing venue for different occasions. Seafood Lemon Aioli ang pinakamasarap ba pagkain na natikman ko sa the Garden Café. I would recommend this place kahit hindi pa sya ganoon kasikat at medyo malayo sa city pero this is the place na pwedeng pwede kang magrelax at makakakita ka ng magandang view and spot. Plus, the staffs are accommodating.”

@nayowmiiii: “So far ang favorite ko na café ay ang Hebrews Café, maganda ang lugar nila for IG at yung food ay masarap. Ang best seller para sa akin ay yung carbonara nila and yung cucumber na drink, it’s refreshing. I think most of the millennials love to go there frequently kasi malapit lang siya sa city at perfect sa mga date ng barkada. I would very much recommend the place kasi convenient siyang puntahan especially when you want to have a time for yourself.”

Unknown: “Purple Beetle. Even though the menu is costly but the food is worth it with good taste. Burger and ice cream is my favorite choice at Purple Beetle. This is perfect for students because of it’s big space wherein students can do their school works.”

@Mhanwella: “ Mary Laine’s Café. All the prices of their products are affordable especially for students like me, and the cheap price range does not diminish the quality of their foods. The ambience of their café is also relaxing and enjoyable since various recreational activities such as games and books are ready to be read and available to use anytime. Pasta and lemonade is my favorite here. It’s very affordable (If you have 100 php, it is enough to buy both if I am not mistaken) and can make you full at once. It is highly recommended!”

Unknown: “Café de Alps. They have nice ambience, welcoming and comfortable place when I need to spend time between school and home. Hazelnut mocha frappucino and smoked hadm and grilled cheese steak is my favorite food choice here. I love the plating and the cost of foods are worth it.”

Unknown: “ Bo’s Coffee. The ambience is very pleasing and spacious. This is good place for studying and doing homeworks. I woud recommend this since it’s spacious and quiet perfect place for students like me.

Unknown: “I do love Mary Laine’s Café. It’s very affordable and popular especially to students.
